We started Cub Scout Pack 008 with 7 Adult Leaders and 5 Cub Scouts in October 2007. After discussion with several Churches and Organizations, we decided that Faith United Methodist Church would be our best facility that would provide adequate program facilities and community support. Our first year we grew to over 10 Cub Scouts and provided significant Scouting opportunities and lots of fun for the youth. We are very sensitive to the financial needs of our families and are providing uniforms and activities at a minimal cost to the youth. Since our beginning, we have participated in: Trout Fishing, 4 community service days,4 District Archery Events, 2 District Scout Shows, A BSA Museum visit, a Fall Festival Outing, and many other events. The most significant is yet to come: we are crossing-over 4 Cub Scouts into a local Boy Scout Troop 335.
