We will celebrate our Cub Scout Birthday on Tuesday night February 9th starting at 6:30. We will eat dinner, watch some fantastic entertainment (yes..we will do more skits) and present some awards.

Friends of Scouting 2010

Dear Scout Parent,

The Longhorn Council, Boy Scouts of America is currently conducting a Friends of Scouting campaign. The parents of Scouts have been asked to support this effort. The money will be used to supplement income received from United Way, program fees, and the trust fund. Individual contributors, us as Friends of Scouting and community alumni, are the largest source of income to the Council. The Council’s programs and services are primarily funded by the Friends of Scouting campaign.

we will have a craft day (on a Saturday) soon to work on pinewood derby cars. If you have not started on them, please decide what you want your car to look like.

March 27, 27 at Sid Richardson Scout Ranch

The trout fishing will be January 30 and March 13 at Camp Tayhoya..our cost will be $20 per Cub Scout..we will need to decide which day to go.

Part of our responsibilities as a Cub Scout Pack is to participate in annual Scout Sunday which usually is the first Sunday in February. This year we will meet at our Charter Organization, Faith United Methodist Church, at 9:30 for a light breakfast (donuts and juice.coffee) and assist with the Sunday Morning Worship Service that starts at 10:30 a.m.
